Now that classes have started I find most of my time spent in front of small groups of Korean children who cannot understand a word I say. I'm not sure how I feel about this as of yet. Aside from the fact that the students are eager to learn, are generally friendly, and fun to be around, it is
difficult to stand in front of a class and think "I'm supposed to teach you English".

Well, anyway, we went out to Tokyo house last night which is yet another Korean bar, there are only about 700 in the four block area that I live in, and probably 2,000 within a mile of my apartment. Drinking is what is done when one isn't working, and drink they do. The pitchers of beer are large
and cheap, and as soon as your glass is empty it's snatched away by someone to be filled yet again. It is very difficult to keep your glass from being filled, actually, although I've made several attempts.

At the bar anyway, we watched the end of the World Cup Soccer game between Korea and Poland, and would have had to have been deaf, dumb, and blind to not be aware of Korea's victory, although I have a feeling that all three would not have prevented one from eventually being informed. It was quite
exciting with all the yelling and screaming and shouting and jumping, and more beer in glass, and I don't remember most of it, at this writing.

I've learn yesterday on my way home that if I want to acquire a bottle of soda, I should go with a trusted name brand rather then thinking to skimp and save a measly few cents by buying some off brand product. Sure, Mccola looks like it might be what you are looking for, the same color, size, and
general appearance of Pepsi, but it is not until you get it home that you find out it is actually soy sauce flavored, and boy, let me tell you, that is not a taste sensation. Or rather, I suppose, it is, but not a good one.

So from now on I stick to Pepsi.

Haven't heard from the Henderson's in awhile and am generally concerned that this means something is afoot. Anyone else can feel free to write me as well, as I like getting mail, dammit.
